So my wife and I took a mini one day vacation to Las Vegas. We were invited to hang out by one of my good friends John. One of the places we went to was Axehole Vegas.
At Axehole, they let you throw all kinds of things at a wooden target that is placed on a wall. They provided an assortment of axes, ninja stars, shovels, spears and throwing cards.
They have two options to choose from. One is Axe Throwing at $30/hr (Just axes) and the other Ultimate Throwing at $45 with the mentioned weapons above.
Once everyone gets the hang of practice throwing, the competition begins! Each part of the target are different points, the closer you are to the target the more points you get. It’s kind of like bowling except you’re throwing some pretty sharp projectiles.
After trying out most of the throwing weapons, I think from the easiest to hardest are the following:
- Metal Throwing Cards
- Ninja Stars
- Throwing Axe
- Shovel
- Spear
I didn’t win with the most points. I was 6 points shy from winning. Axehole awarded the winner with a can cooler. The rest of us got Aexhole branded wrist bands. I’ll take it.
All in all, I had a great time. I would totally recommend this for anyone in the Fremont Street area as it’s another thing on your list you can check off for things you haven’t done.
